Description
I was commissioned by University of Miami to create this 25″ x 36″ watercolor for the “Miami Herbert Business School”
In his watercolor, the ibis—a symbol of resilience and renewal—stands watch beside a living mosaic of macaws and Egyptian-geese gliding above and beneath the flowing canal. The ibis heralds strength in adversity; the macaws symbolize bold ideas soaring toward the future; the Egyptian birds evoke times gone by and the continuum of learning. The canal, as heart of the composition, flows with purpose and possibility—much like the journey of study at Miami Herbert Business School. Through color, motion, and symbolism, this piece reflects the institution’s commitment to leadership, creativity, and enduring scholarship.”
