The Owners of the Frenchman’s Reef Hotel, St Thomas and the designer, deceided they wanted this large painting to be like a chinese screen. 4 large canvases each 10ft tall x 4ft wide hinged together like a large screen, and mounted to the wall.
I had a vision to paint ST. THOMAS as it was before the humans, cars, and architecture.
I have been traveling and lived on this particular island since 1968, so i felt very connected to this project.
