For Grove artist, life imitates art…  Artist Eileen Seitz treats us to watermelon for breakfast in the house her architect husband, J Beattie, built for them in Coconut Grove. The home boasts enormous windows, soaring ceilings and a skylight that afford us a magnificent view of her tropical garden. It’s a cozy place to be on a rainy morning. The Miami Herald  prints a ½ page story. “A Caribbean Love Affair”

For the July 2007 cover of the American Journal of Public Health Magazine, my painting “MAYAN MARKET??? was selected . The monthly issue is to be distributed to an audience of 25,000 people across the United States. It is enabling me to share some of my experiences with the Mayan women, men and children that I saw in the markets of Merida and Mexico City, Mexico. You can order the limited edition giclee on paper or canvas on my website  www.eileenseitz.com

Movie: “Out of Time”- Featured Posters & Limited edition prints

 “Head over Heels”, used several of my artworks for the  Set Design in their pilot TV show.

Miami University School of Business commissioned me to create, paint two large watercolors for the purpose of producing posters to be used for advertising their new Schools .
It was a very cold winter day and I went and sat on the grounds of the University to capture their new architecture.  The bicycles of the students, the ducks in the small creek in front all capture the energy of Miami.
